The Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy (BSP) is a four-year program that offers a good mix of general education and professional courses. The GenEd courses have relevant applications in the profession of pharmacy and the professional courses prepare the students in acquiring necessary competencies in the profession.
Foundation courses in pharmaceutical chemistry, pharmaceutics and the life sciences will enhance the students’ understanding of pharmaceutical product development and their applications. It also includes a 1200-hour internship program or supervised pharmacy practice experience where the students are exposed to a variety of opportunities in actual practice areas that prepares them to become professional pharmacist.
The program aims to provide the country, and the world, with professional pharmacists who are scientifically and morally competent to deliver the full spectrum of pharmaceutical service consistent with international standards in different work settings.
