
08 Mar UA Signs Agreement with Taiwanese University for Academic Collab
University of the Assumption enters into an agreement with Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology (STUST) on February 28, 2019 at the UA Boardroom.
The signing of the Memorandum of Understanding and partnership meeting revolved around the possible future collaborations of the two parties including academic exchanges and programs for students and faculty members.
“We hope that we could work closely with the University of the Assumption as well as with some students for undergraduate studies and scholarships,” said Mr. Aaron See, Director of STUST Office of International Affairs.
Father Joselito Henson, UA President and Mr. See spearheaded the signing.
Present also during the meeting were Dr. Mediatriz Martin, Vice-president for Academic Affairs Dr. Dexter Balajadia, Director of UA Office of Linkages and International Relations; Dr. Joey Suba, Dean of the College of Computing, Library and Information Science; and Mrs. Kriselle Anne C. Pangilinan, Director of the Quality Management Office.
STUST has established formal academic relationships with 162 universities around the world. The institution is devoted to integrating the associate resources and promoting international, cultural, and academic exchanges.
