09 Jan UA Celebrates 56 Years of Assumption Education

University of the Assumption will celebrate its 56 th founding anniversary on January 10 and 11, 2019.

This year’s theme for the celebration is “56 years of Assumption Education: Continuing Tradition, Extending Frontier”, a statement that reflects UA’s continuing the mission of its founder of providing quality Catholic education while exploring new areas and opportunities.

The 56 th Founding Anniversary will kick off with a fun run at 5:00AM on Thursday. Students, faculty, administrators and alumni are expected to participate in this annual fund raising event organized by the members of the UA Student Assistants Organization.

Highlights of the event are the coronation of the Mr. and Ms. UA 2019 and the Students Night featuring Parokya ni Edgar, December Avenue, I belong to the Zoo and other performers.

The 56 th foundation celebration is a joint undertaking of the External Affairs and Media Office (EAMO), Office of the Student Affairs, UA Central Student Council and the different colleges and schools.
