08 Jan UA to Offer English Course to Korean Students of Hansung University
The University of the Assumption (UA) will be offering English language program to students of Hansung University (HU) starting in the summer of 2019.
The agreement was sealed during the meeting in Korea between the academic administrators of UA and HU in December 2018.
“Hansung University will send students to UA to study English. The students will also be participating in the extension programs in different adopted communities of UA,” according to Dr. Joey Suba, Dean of UA College of Information Technology, Computing and Library Science. Teachers from HU will also be coming over to teach Korean language to UA students.
The collaboration is the first among the many areas being explored by the team of UA and HU academic managers after the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding last year. Click here to read article
Aside from Dr. Suba, the members of the team are UA School of Arts and Sciences (SAS) Dean Edna Calma, UA College of Hospitality and Tourism Management Dean Ruben Lingat, UA College of Nursing and Pharmacy Dean Anele Mallari and Dr. Seung Cheon Kim, Dean of International Affairs and Manager for Transportation and Communication of HU.
