Two UA Alumni Top August 2018 Guidance Counselor Board Exam

Two graduates of the University of the Assumption made it to top ten of the licensure examination for guidance counselors held in August 2018, according to the Professional Regulations Commission (PRC).

Agatha Anne D. Dizon is Top 1 with a score of 90.20 percent. Agatha studied in UA from kindergarten to graduate school. She finished her Bachelor of Science in Psychology in 2014 as Cum Laude and her Master of Arts in Guidance Counseling (MAGC) in April 2018 as Magna Cum Laude.

Kevin Russel D. Batara, on the other hand, made it to the 7th spot with a score of 88%. Kevin also belong to MAGC Batch 2018.

UA scored a 100% passing rate. The other two passers are Lianne C. Calma and Sarah Marie M. Gueco. Lianne is one of the guidance counsellors in the UA Junior High School.

Since the opening of the MAGC program in the Graduate School in 2009, UA has been consistently scoring a 100% passing rate in the board exams for guidance counselors. In 2011, Glaiza Ann L. Dizon (now Pangan) got the 4 th spot in the top 10 list. Glaiza is now teaching in the School of Arts and Sciences.

UA also congratulates its Bachelor of Science in Psychology graduates who passed the same board exams including Lilibeth J. Dizon who now works as guidance counselor in the UAJHS, Car Guda Cortez, Fatima Janine C. Saplala and Manuel Felipe T. Torres.
