“One word that describes all of us today is that we are all achievers who are here to be awarded as Dean’s listers and President’s listers. It is indeed a great privilege to be called as one, to finally receive the award we all strived so hard to get. But we are known not only as achievers alone because behind every achiever is a follower of Christ, a student, a friend, a son or daughter,” Patawaran said in her speech.

She also expressed her gratitude and appreciation to her parents to whom she dedicated her award.
“Thank you for making me feel like the most loved person in the world. And I would like you to feel the same by doing everything that I can and going an extra mile just to make you proud,” she added.

Along with the awarding of the student-achievers, the top five feeder schools were also recognized. They are the secondary schools where most of academic achievers this year graduated. These are: Pampanga High School, University of the Assumption High School, Assumpta Technical High School, Guagua National Colleges, Holy Cross College.
