
13 Dec UA Recognizes New CPAs
The new Certified Public Accountants who passed the October 2017 licensure examination were treated for a testimonial and recognition luncheon at the Domus Mariae Coffee Shop, December 1, 2017.
Dean Sisinia Quizon of the College of Accountancy thanked the new board passers for the honor they bring to the university. “We are very grateful and very proud because of the honor that you have given back to UA. Remember that your pride and honor is not only yours but it is our pride and honor too,” Quizon said. She also wished the new CPAs the best of luck for their career and future endeavors.
Michaela Jimenez, one of the new CPAs expressed her gratitude for the gathering held for them. She said that passing the board exam is a way to give back to the school for supporting them all the way.
“I am fulfilled that after all the sacrifice and hard work, we have achieved our goal to be certified public accountants,” Jimenez said. She also left an advice to those who will take the next board examination
“ Trust God. Dedicate your efforts to your family, friends and to the people who have faith in you. Do not forget to maintain self-discipline. Through discipline you can set straight your goals and achieve them,” added Jimenez.
Present also during the testimonial were Father Joselito Henson, UA President; Dr. Mediatriz Martin, Vice-President for Academic Affairs; and COA faculty members.
The event was spearheaded by the College of Accountancy (COA).
