19 Jun UASHS Recognizes Academic Achievers

One hundred and sixty senior high school students were recognized on June 16 at the Bishop Emilio Cinense Gymnasium for their exemplary academic performance in School Year 2016-2017.

33 students who obtainedaverage grade of 95-97 in the previous academic year made it to High Honors Award and 127 students who garnered average grades of 90-94 received the With Honors Award. The students received certificates and medals.

In a message delivered by the university president, Father Joselito Henson, he lauded the students for the accomplishment in their studies. “Your discipline, hard work, diligence and determination, I believe, deserve greater recognition,” he said.

The guidelines and grades for the qualifications of academic awardees in senior high school were set by the Department of Education through Deped Order No. 36 s 2016.
