13 Oct UA Grade School Teacher Receives Excellence Award in Teaching

Mrs. Anna Manalastas of the University of the Assumption Grade School was awarded as Most Outstanding Elementary Teacher during the World Teachers’ day celebration at the 2 nd APSA General Assembly and Teachers Congress, October 7, 2016.

The award waspresented by the Jesus S.Lazatin Foundation Awards for Excellence to private school educators who have shared exceptional contribution in the field of education, community service, and research.

“It made us (teachers) feel special and thankful. At the same time, it feels great that the efforts we put into teaching are being recognized,” said Manalastas.

Vice-mayor Jimmy Lazatin of the City of San Fernando, Pampanga said in a Facebook post that“Educators must give their best efforts and services to their students for them to be outstanding and excellent. Our awardees indeed are those who performed exemplary in their field.”

Manalastas said that she is indeed grateful to the people who put their trust on her in her twenty-six year of service.
