High School Techie Gather for the 4th Robotics Competition

The 4th Robotics Competition brought together high school students from different public and private secondary schools in Pampanga who are interested in pursuing a career in computer and electronics engineering.

The event began with a symposium with Engr. Tyrell Pangilinan who talked about the nature of computer engineering and electronics engineering and the opportunities available to graduates of these two (2) academic programs.

Computer Engineering and Electronics Engineering are two of the fastest growing career fields today. They are responsible in creating the technologies that connect the world and makes life better and more efficient.

Winners in the competition were La Verdad Christian College who bagged the 1 st place, UA Junior High School for the 2 nd place, and Cansinala High School who came in 3 rd place.

The annual robotics competition is organized by the College of Engineering and Architecture (CEA) through the Computer and Electronics Engineering Department (CEED). It was held on February 18, 2016 in the Bishop Emilio Cinense Gymnasium.
