[lsvr_lead]The UA community officially opened the Christmas season in the university on December 8, 2015 with the lighting of the “up-cycled” Christmas trees and lanterns and the launching of the 53rd foundation anniversary logo.[/lsvr_lead]
In his opening remarks, the University President highlighted the two (2) “births” being celebrated by the Assumptionists in the season of Christmas: the birth of Jesus and the birth of the University of the Assumption.
The highlights of the Christmas décor are the up-cycled Christmas trees created by the students of the UA Junior High School. (see related story)
The activities for the 53rd foundation celebration on January 6 to 8, 2016 were also announced during the event. Please see the banners on the main lobby for the detailed schedule or click here.
The launch which is one of the pre-foundation celebration events was organized by the 53rd Foundation Day Committee composed of the UA Central Student Council, the Office of Student Affairs, the External Affairs and Media Office and the different Recognized Student Organizations.
