19 Nov Region 3 Architecture Students Attend Lecture and Thesis Consultation
[lsvr_lead]Graduating Architecture students from 8 colleges and universities in Central Luzon led by the University of the Assumption gathered at the UA Msgr. Ricardo Serrano Auditorium for CONFAB 5.5 on November 14, 2015.[/lsvr_lead]
CONFAB Series was started in 2010 by the United Architects of the Philippines Quezon City Chapter. Its aim is to assist graduating architecture students through a free lecture and thesis consultation.
Now on its 5th year, CONFAB 5.5 dubbed as Patnube: Idake ing Cabiasnan was organized by UAP Pampanga City of San Fernando Chapter led by Ar. Jan Philippine N. Cortes who is an alumnus of the UA College of Engineering and Architecture.
Two of the leading architects in Pampanga were invited to share their expertise on specific topics which are very significant in the field of architecture. Ar. Michaela Rosette M. Santos discussed the Principles of Green Building and Ar. Jesus Q. Aguas talked about Design and Structural Conceptualization.
After the lectures, the participants were divided into several groups for consultations with the professional architects from the different chapters of UAP in Pampanga, Angeles, Quezon City, Manila, Bataan and Tarlac.
Organizers of the event also included UAP Quezon City, UAP Student Auxiliary National Board, UAP Student Auxiliary UA chapter and UAP Graduate Auxiliary Pampanga.
