UA Senior High School Launched

[lsvr_tabs][lsvr_tab_item title=”Content”][lsvr_lead]In anticipation of the full roll-out of the K to 12 Program in School Year 2016-2017, the UA Senior High School was launched on November 6, 2015. Consequently, UA High School has been renamed as UA Junior High School.[/lsvr_lead]

UASHS was established to provide relevant and quality education to the Grades 11 and 12 students under the Enhanced Basic Education Program of the Philippine government.

Officials from the local government of San Fernando and the Department of Education joined the UA community in celebrating the very important milestone in the history of the oldest Archdiocesan Catholic University in the Philippines and Asia.

After the celebration of the Holy Mass, the UASHS offices, classrooms and laboratories were blessed. University President Fr. Joselito C. Henson introduced Dr. Violy Fernanda Santos as the first principal of the senior high school and Ms. Edita Sagmit, principal of the junior high school.

For School Year 2016-2017, UASHS will offer the four (4) strands under Academic Track: General Academic (GA); Accounting, Business and Management (ABM); Humanities and Social Sciences (HUMSS) and Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM). It will also be offering Technical-Vocational Track with specialization in Animation and Computer Programming.
